For optimal sealing, we recommend ensuring both the rim of the container and the gasket on the lid are completely clean and dry. Even small crumbs or moisture can affect the vacuum seal. We recommend wiping down the rubber around the seal of the release valve inside and out and the surrounding lid and the Containers from fine food particles before sealing to ensure the sealing area is dry and clean before trying to seal. Additionally, checking that the gasket is properly aligned and free of any wear can help maintain a secure seal.
