Disappointing

Why are there only grantons on one side? Can someone explain the theory behind this? Saving manufacturing cost, that’s my theory. Food only sticks to the left side, not the right?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Santoku. I already have a several Henkel knives. This is easy to use, but not too small. Good not just for peeling or trimming, but for preparing fish fillet, chicken, vegetables, fruits. I am so happy to add this to my Henkel!

A small santoku is such a nice knife to use for those smaller cutting projects. Good for mincing, dicing and chopping smaller veggies such as garlic, shallots, small onions and herbs.

This is a comfortable and easy to use, chop, clean etc. i would recommend this as a starter santoku or if you don't use one very often

This is a nice value priced santoku that has a forged bolster so it feels sturdy and strong while chopping, mincing and slicing. The hollow air pockets on the edge are designed to help food release from the blade as you slice. Made from high quality stainless steel you will find this knife is corrosion resistant and retains a nice sharp cutting edge.
