Great mini version of a wok

This is such a cute mini version of a wok that is great for cooking and serving side dishes. The handles on the wok make it easy to grab when it is on the stove top or in the oven. Because this is made out of cast iron, it retains heat really well, so that the food inside stays hot for a long time on the table. The lid is made of glass and makes it easy to see what's going on with my food without taking the top off.

This baby wok comes with the added benefit of a glass lid. Cast iron is not only great for heat retention and keeping contents warm, but prechilled it will keep recipes cool as well. Keep your favorite dishes covered until ready to serve.

I love using this little wok for hot appetizers! It's the perfect size for a small gathering or happy hour. It would also make a very nice intimate side for two. Staub heats up so evenly and holds heat very well making it ideal. Perfect for stovetop or oven and cleans up beautifully.

I love serving in these cute baby woks. They are fully functioning cookware. The cast iron holds heat well. The matte enamel coating is easy to clean and maintain without seasoning. The texture gives great browning. I like to cook in my larger Staub wok and serve in these. I bring them to the table with the lid on and when it is removed the aroma escapes giving a sneak preview of the deliciousness to come.

Small but Sensational

This is a great little piece of cookware. It helps me when making dinner for just me to control portion sizes, so I don't cook a whole package and stuff myself full. Looks great on the shelf. The expected high quality of Staub craftmanship will keep this fine piece in rotation for years to come! I will add that I would have loved some of the black matte pieces in cherry instead.
