Made in Gernany. Quality steel. Really sharp. Not too heavy. I like that there are slots to add more knives including steak knives. The only thing that would make this set better is trading in a paring knife for a medium sized knife.

Leave it to Zwilling to make a high quality stamped blade in this Gourmet block. The 7pc set is perfect for any cook as it features the essential knives one would need with a few slots open for more. The stamped blades still consist of Zwilling's signature durable forged steel that runs all the way through the handle. A comfortable, lightweight handle makes the grip easy and cutting seamless. Maintain the edge and angle of your blades with frequent use of the honing steel.

This is a great set if you want to have essential knives available for use in your kitchen. With the Gourmet, this knife stands out from other stamped knives, because of the high carbon stainless steel that has been ice hardened, creating a knife that will stay sharper longer, not be prone to chipping and have lasting durability.

German made cutlery at an excellent value. Includes your most used everyday knives, and has vacant slots to add additional Gourmet knives of your choosing. Coordinating steak set available online.

You'll be amazed at how sharp these knives are. They are made with German Steel and are extremely durable. There is no fluff knife in this set, each knife has a purpose so you won't need to buy anything else.

This is a classic German Steel at a value price. Perfect for the upgrade!
I like the combination of knives and the extra space the block offers to expand as needed.
The look and feel of this blade is balanced and sturdy. Rounded edge between the blade and handle means you can use the full length of this blade. Good Value!
