[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchasing another knife from the artisan collection, I decided that I wanted a smaller knife for cutting smaller veggies. Even though it’s 3.5”, this knife cuts through soft and hard veggies effortlessly. Lately, it has been my go-to knife. Great buy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second knife from the Miyabi Artisan collection. These knives are beautiful to look at and even better to cook with. Easy care to ensure they last forever, this won’t be my last purchase!
The name Artisan says it all. From the gold and red accents on the wooden handle to the hammered and sand blasted blade every inch is art. The super hard high carbon blade is super sharp and very easy to maintain. The pairing knife is perfectly balanced and the handle feels comfortable in a variety of grips.
One of my most used knives in the kitchen! I always have this knife close at hand when I am working in the kitchen. I bake so I am constantly peeling fruits largely, but some vegetables as well. It is perfect for peeling the fruits and it is super sharp so often I can get that peel off in one long piece! The D-shape handle is very comfortable in my hand and make the small work easy!
This is one of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen AND it's so sharp and comfortable to use. The handle has a curve that makes it very ergonomic and I love that both the handle and the blade are artistically handmade. You can really tell that this was made one at a time by skilled artisans.
The handle is good size for me for a paring knife. I like something II can get a good grip on, and often times a paring knife's handle will be pared down (pun intended) as if your hand gets smaller when you cut smaller things. LOL. The handle and the blade on this knife are in the right proportion for me and my very average hands. The wonderfully sharp edge is a delight. I want one cut and done. No going back over old terrain.
This 3.5" paring knife of sg2 premium steel has healthy, comfortable handle, bit of knuckle space and is hammered to prevent food from sticking so you can work more quickly.
