I love that I could use this awesome pan on my induction stove top. It worked so well! The pan does not warp with heat, and the handle stays cooler than most stainless steel saucepans. Great at resisting finger prints too.

Excellent Saucepan

I read Atlantis was the best and I bought this on the recommendation. I have similar saucepan (Brand A) which I did a head to head test with the same amount of water from tap to boil. The Atlantis was 33% faster to boil water. This saucepan is a workhorse in the kitchen.

There cant's be better cookware than this...

When we remodeled our kitchen switched to an induction cooktop, we needed new compatible cookware. We figured if we spend so much on the kitchen we should go ahead and invest in good cookware too. This has to be the best cookware on the market. I use the sauce pan all the time. I can steam vegetables with just a splash of water. It heats up quickly, boils water in no time. It is dishwasher safe but we wash it by hand, and it looks as new as the day it arrived.

This 7-ply saucepan is what you need for maximum heat retention/distribution and cooking efficiency. Whether you are boiling water for pasta or heating up a soup, it will take less time in this awesome stainless steel saucepan from Demeyere. This is top of the line saucepan is a great weight and can take the brunt of any utensil and the smoke point of any oil/butter/fat.

There is nothing on the market better than Demeyere when it comes to stainless steel cookware. These pieces are amazing. The 7 layers of silver, copper and steel in the Atlantis collection are unparalleled; it heats up so quickly, and retains that heat well. Also there are no rivets, making for a much easier cleaning. With the saucepan, making sauces, soups are perfect. With the Silvinox finish, these stainless steel pans do a fantastic job cleaning after use.

Not all sauce pans are created equal. And this sauce pan (in all the sizes) will make you a believer in better cookware. It/they cook so evenly that you don't have to fret over burnt bottoms and scrubbing to clean up. Managed, even heating is the trick to cooking well, and these sauce pans make sure of that.
Demeyere made me rethink my cookware plan. I have spent my grown-up years upgrading to better cookware, which for me is (was) copper clad pans. But there are some challenges with copper, mostly maintenance.
Enter Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of copper cookware and it’s easy to clean! In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price.
No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads. Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift. Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way. Just a note – it is heavy, like copper, but some things can’t be helped. There's copper in there, and copper is heavy.

Atlantis cookware with a 7-ply base is remarkable for fast and even heat retention. Welded ergonomic handles with no rivets remain cool to the touch on stove top.
Proprietary Silvonox for extremely easy clean up. Well worth the investment.
