Seven- ply base with TriplInduct for extremely efficient cooking. Stock Pot provides quick heating and even heat retention. Large rivetless handles remain cool to the touch on stove top and combine with dripless rims for easy straining and pouring. Pot will stay silvery white thanks to the Silvinox treatment that also aids in clean up. Worth the investment.
Heavy, durable, quality stock pot. The thick 7 layered base conducts heat quickly and efficiently. The large loop handles on the sides and lid make it easy to grasp. The pasta insert (sold separately) goes well with the pot!
IMPRESSIVE Large capacity- This stock pot will hold up to 2.1 gallons of liquid. Perfect for making stock. This is the pan I use around the Holidays to ensure I have plenty of stock to make plenty of gravy! I also like to use this pot for cooking lobster. A pan for the serious home cooks. Demeyere pans are known worldwide for exceptional quality and performance. This pan lives up to that reputation. Solid, durable pan that will heat evenly and quickly.. Ample size for family gatherings and entertaining. Exceptional heating for searing and browning. Perfect for induction cook tops.
Cook your stocks, stews or soups in this incredible, tall stock pot. Seven layers (or ply) of stainless steel allow heat to evenly distribute across the pot to expertly cook food and improve cooking efficiency. It is the perfect weight and even so, the double handles make it convenient to move around the kitchen if needed.
This stock pot is fantastic. It heats up quickly and evenly - it has a 7 layer construction including an aluminum core layer. The handles are stay cool on the stove top and it can go into the oven up to 500F. I do like that it keeps it silvery finish over time due to the Silvenox treatment that Demeyere uses on all their pans. Look Mom - no rivets on the inside of pan making clean up magical.
Demeyere made me rethink my cookware plan. I have spent my grown-up years upgrading to better cookware, which for me is (was) copper clad pans. But there are some challenges with copper, mostly maintenance.
Enter Demeyere Atlantis. I love this stuff! It has all the best parts of copper cookware and it’s easy to clean! In addition to being technically sound (it cooks well; heats evenly and is responsive to temperature changes), it has bonuses that help to justify the price.
No rivets - no cleaning around those annoying little screw heads. Comfortable stay-cool handles – easy to grip and lift. Looks good – shiny exterior stays that way. Just a note – it is heavy, like copper, but some things can’t be helped. There's copper in there, and copper is heavy.
