Tweezer/Tongs!

If you have ever worked in a professional kitchen, you know that a stainless steel 12” tweezers are third in line of utility after your chef knife and your pairing knife. These are really closer to a tweezer/tong. This is not a your dad’s grill tongs to flip porterhouse steaks. This is a specific tool for specifics tasks like rolling spaghetti before plating or remove cooked clams from the saute pan, etc. Just like one has a few purposeful knifes in the kitchen, one needs a few different style tongs. And this tweezer-tong is silicone to protect your pans. If you do a lot of cooking of different dishes, you will find this tool to be quite useful.

Great for a buffet

I love these black silicone handles for a casual buffet. The silicone is natural, heat resistant and easy to clean (I don't put them in the dishwasher where they will get bleached out; I like the deep black color.)
They are great for anyone to use to grab a burger, a slice of onion and tomato. Also great for noodles, slices of fruit. Grips very well.

These tongs are handy for cooking and the silicone coating is easy on all your cookware surfaces including nonstick. These are lightweight and easy to grab and use without the need to "open" or unlock them. Pretty and simple enough to use on serving platters too.

Staub tongs

Slender but strong. All of the Staub utensils are good, as well as these silcone tongs. Easy on your non-stick but tough on the task. Flip your meats or roasted veggies in the pan or toss a salad or pasta in the bowl. Good price!

What an excellent idea, non-stick tong! With this,, cooking delicate dishes is effortless maneuvering and transferring, it holds food gently and release without tearing it apart. Perfect turning and grasping pastry, a baker and a cook helper.

Needs to be adjusted to have a wider opening

Tongs open up and are at rest based on how much they spring open (no hinge). They arrive with only a 1” free standing opening. You must overly spread them apart (6” or more) to make the opening at rest be more than 1”.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
