This is a nice set of knives for the value. Great for chopping vegies. The hollow help keep food from sticking to the blade which is always a plus.

I was looking for an Asian knife set for a birthday gift & found this online. It's a great value & having 2 sizes in one set is a plus. They do cut well and cleans easily by hand washing.

Nice set for any kitchen. Love the weight of the knife - lighter than some of the other German knives. The hollowed edges help move food away from the blade quickly so big prep jobs seem easier.

These knives are the perfect substitute for the traditional, heavier German chef's knife. Much lighter, with an acute angle, and Japanese design which makes them a pleasure to cut with. The hollow edges prevent food from sticking to the blade by preventing air pockets. These knives are my new secret weapon and am happy to share my discovery.

This is a great set. I love santoku knives because of their slim profile. They give me accuracy with very little waste. This set is great because the smaller size is great for vegetable and herb prep and the larger one for my cutting and chopping of proteins and large root veg. The blades are very sharp and easy to maintain and the handles very comfortable to hold.
