This 6-qt dutch oven is a great size for sauce, soups, stews, chili, and pasta. You can use it in the oven or on the stove top. The glass lid is a nice feature.

Nice width! The pan is made from a 3 ply construction, 3 layers, the middle being aluminum - a great heat conductor. It heats quickly and evenly. You can also use it in the oven up to 500F. My favorite thing to use it for is one pot meals.

A 6 Q is great for so many meals - casseroles, stews, chili, meat & veggie combos, soups, and more. the 3-ply heats evenly and quickly and goes from oven or stove to table. Cleans easily - just soak.

This roomy pot is perfect for so many things...soups, stews, chili, pasta water and don't forget rice krispie squares (you need a deep pot to melt those marshmallows and fold in the ceral)! Excellent feel in weight and durability and with a thick aluminum core you can be sure it will heat up quickly and evenly.

Great 3-ply All Clad Cookware

Great shape and size. It's a real Dutch oven shape - wider on the bottom for maximum single layer braising. good for soups and stews and curries too.
It's well made. It heats quickly, holds the heat and cooks evenly. It can take high heat for rapid boiling, or low heat for gentle simmering. It has 3 layers of clad metal - a thick interior layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of 18/10 steel.
Because it cooks so evenly - no burn spots and clean-up is easy. It is dishwasher safe, but if you can, hand wash. It will look like new for years and years and years to come.

The tri-ply construction of this pot heats quickly and evenly. The stainless steel works on all cooktops including induction as well as in the oven. I love that there are measurement marks on the inside allowing me to fill with water directly in the vessel. The glass lid is tight fitting and allows me to monitor my cooking without lifting it off.
