Awesome pan until the coating peels

I loved everything about this pan for the first 7 months. Easy to use, easy to clean, can still get a sear on my steaks, and fried eggs and omelets slip out easily. Never used metal, never used a dishwasher, always cleaned the pan after use (so easy to clean!! Did I mention that??) but now the coating is peeling and I have to toss it. So sad. Loved everything about it up to peeling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My husband has complained for years that there are no good non-stick cooking pan. He did a lot of research and said this should be it. He's been using it for several months now and loves it. Just don't ask to use it, he'll say 'No'.

I have tried so many nonstick pans, and there was only one that I liked very much. Unfortunately, when that one wore out, I could not find it again. I happened to be reading the "Food" section in the New York Times and this skillet was mentioned as a favorite. The writer mentioned that they, too, had tried man nonstick skillets, but they were quickly retired and that her husband loved the Zwilling Madura Plus Forged nonstick frying pan. I truly love this frying pan. The only thing that I wish was different is that I wish it was 12" like my old favorite.

The Last Pan I Will Ever Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my own pan today, but I have jealously watched my sister in law use hers. for years and I envied how perfectly it cooked everything and cleaned up like a breeze. My job was always clean up and I have been used to soaking and then scrubbing my own pans since the supposed non-stick surface is long gone. I’m so happy I finally decided to stop fighting with my own cookware and take advantage of this beauty. Thanks for making such a supreme quality pan. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the lifetime guarantee too and that I can use metal utensils if I forget to use the right ones.

I purchased this pan in January of this year. It's replaced all my other frying pans. Cooks well and cleans up with no effort. My only complaint is that the coating on the top edge developed scratches and continues to get new scratches with each use. It doesn't affect the inside cooking surface although if it spreads into the pan I will have to discontinue using.

I read about this pan from a food critic in the NY Times. I've struggled with making the perfect fried eggs for years, and finally solved it with this perfect pan. It heats evenly and wow! do those eggs slide out easily. I love it, and recommend it totally.
