I found this knife to be nice and sharp. Cuts through scallions, carrots, potatoes, etc with ease. So far I'm really enjoying this knife and it's my go to when I'm cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is great!! Cuts through everything like butter makes chopping effortless. Just have to keep in mind how sharp it is :) In a past life I worked in a German restaurant for 13 years and all the chefs used these knifes. Now I know why.

There should be a bold large warning: WARNING! BLADE IS SUPER SHARP and you're not familiar with this new utensil, so proceed with caution and move slowwwwly... Sigh, I cut my finger as soon as I started to cut my onion for dinner! Now, I'm intimidated by it.
