Excellent rice cooker! I am very impressed. Also made a tomato sauce which cooked perfectly in this little gem. Read the manual that comes with before you use it. It will help you use it and care for it.

This petite French is the perfect size for individual servings of grains. It has self-basting Chistera spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - nothing dries out and the food stays moist. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly, also stays hot for hours. I have even used this pan for baking desserts.

Solid little fellow, it boasts Staub's solidness & durability. Super, rich deep blue colour and chevrons beneath lid will help you make some of your best rice, etc. consistently .

cutest oatmeal maker!

This pot was recommended to me to use for overnight oatmeal. It works perfectly! the oats soak so nicely then just turn on the heat in the morning...ready to go. Something about using cast iron gives the oatmeal so much rich flavor while maintaining the texture. Hubby gets excited every time he sees the pot he expects there is oatmeal coming.

Great little pot

This is such an adorable pot you may want to just leave it sitting out on your stove all the time.
It is the perfect size and features for cooking rice and oatmeal. It has the self baisting lid like the larger dutch ovens. This creates a little rain forest inside and you get incredible cooking and flavor.
Clean up is a breeze because the inside is enameled also. A little soap and water and it can go back on display til next time.

I got this beautiful little pot last fall and love using it for baked or black beans, sauces, rice, quinoa or other little side dishes but it also came in handy when I was making a big pot of chili for family and when I found out my nephew's fiance is vegetarian I was able to make her a personal pot of vegetarian chili...it was perfect on the stove next to the bigger meat version! Like all Staub you'll enjoy the easy clean up of the matte black interior which needs no seasoning.

A perfect size for making mac and cheese, or rice or couscous with your fav veggies! Great size for cooking, then serving on the table. Staub makes wonderful pieces that last a lifetime and then can hand down to your kids! And with the lid spikes, your dishes will stay moist with no need to add water!
