First time Staub purchase, and so happy with this Petite French oven. Great rice cooker, because of the absorption properties of cast iron. Wonderful for grains,
oatmeal soups and sauces. Love using to make puddings, never any scorching or burnt bottoms.
This pan also looks great on the table as a warmer and server, which saves some clean up time. The enamel finish is gorgeous and sits on my stove top. Much to pretty to throw in a cabinet.

I got this beautiful little pot last fall and love using it for baked or black beans, sauces, rice, quinoa or other little side dishes but it also came in handy when I was making a big pot of chili for family and when I found out my nephew's fiance is vegetarian I was able to make her a personal pot of vegetarian chili...it was perfect on the stove next to the bigger meat version! Like all Staub you'll enjoy the easy clean up of the matte black interior which needs no seasoning.

A perfect size for making mac and cheese, or rice or couscous with your fav veggies! Great size for cooking, then serving on the table. Staub makes wonderful pieces that last a lifetime and then can hand down to your kids! And with the lid spikes, your dishes will stay moist with no need to add water!

Received this as a Christmas Gift, probably because we eat lots of grains. I've made Coucous, pilaf and risotto and all come out very moist and delicious. Good gift idea for a vegetarian

Solid little fellow, it boasts Staub's solidness & durability. Super, rich deep blue colour and chevrons beneath lid will help you make some of your best rice, etc. consistently .
