This funny looking pot will become your favorite

The uses of this pot will surprise you. It did me. I got it to blanch leafy vegetables, but found myself using it to cook asparagus (like it was intended), potatoes, small batches of broth, soups that need to be pureed with an immersion blender. AND when I'm using all my large pots, like during the holidays, I use this one so I can squeeze one more pot on my stove.
This is a 3-ply stainless steel pan with an aluminum core for even heating and distribution. It comes with a reinforced heavy bottom. It is worth it.

Asparagus Pot!

This cooker is one of my favorite specialty pieces of cookware. I can finally cook tall ingredients without needing to whip out an incredibly large pan to fit food such as asparagus and a perfect tall saucepan. It's also great for boiling potatoes and cooking pasta! You could even use it to boil eggs. The basket makes draining and rinsing pasta incredibly easy. This cooker can also used deep-frying french fries and sweet potato fried and chips. Super convenient!

Quality stainless steel throughout, beautiful finish, handles securely welded and finished; sieve basket well made. Yes, it is a steamer for asparagus and so on...but I also use mine with an immersion blender for processing soups and sauces with less spatter.

I originally bought this to cook asparagus but it does it all. We make soup in it all the time as well as using it for a steamer. Favorite thing about it, stores beautifully cause its so narrow. Its heavy duty stainless steel so heats up instantly.

A very unique cookware piece for blanching veggies or cooking pasta. It’s tall by small in width so great for asparagus, and pasta noodles. With the slender profile of the cooker, it doesn’t take up as much space in your cabinets as a stock pot with a pasta insert would. Cool piece!

While ideal for cooking asparagus, this tall pot and insert are multitaskers. The 3-ply base provides quick heat for blanching vegetables, boiling eggs, or pasta. Removable straining basket prevents the need for a colander. Stainless steel is 18/10 for corrosion resistance and dishwasher safe.

Resto is a great line of cookware from Demeyere. Most of these pans are made for unique cooking needs. This pan has been designed to cook asparagus in an upright position with a basket for holding the stalks upright and also for easy drainage. It can also be used to cook other vegetables and pastas.
