Serrated edge of this utility knife provides easy slicing of food items with a soft inside and firm exterior. Think tomatoes, crusty baguettes, and citrus fruit. No more squished fruit slices in my sangria.

This is the knife that you think you don't need...

...but you'd love it if you owned it. It's indeed intended for slicing through hard charcuterie and tough breads but it is versatile enough for other tasks that you shouldn't use a good knife for. This knife has a serrated edge that will outlast whatever you are cutting through. I use this for tearing through rough breads as well as dry cured sausages. It has become my plastic cutter for all of those items received in my kitchen to liberate food from boxes. It is a utility knife in disguise. I use this knife daily more than my pairing knife. I also do use it as a paring knife on occasions. The serrations are so fine and clean that I can pair fruit with precision. This knife would be the Swiss Army knife in anyone's cutlery collection. I wouldn't want to have to operate without this one.

Not just a tomato knife

This is the knife that most people use for tomatoes because it's always sharp. But don't limit yourself to that; it's great for anything that's hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Think rolls, baguettes, oranges or a package of sausage.
The Pro design with its curved bolster feels perfect in your hand. The three rivet handle makes it durable and perfectly weighted and balanced. It's forged from high carbon German steel in Germany so you know that it is sharp, will stay sharp and will last a lifetime.

Slim Serrated Utility Good for Small Jobs

The quality of this knife is unquestionable. It is part of the Pro line, one of Zwilling's best. The steel will hold up for a lifetime and the knife requires no maintenance. It has an angled bolster, a new design features that matches the grip of professional chef's. It keeps the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control.
I really like this knife - it's great for slicing sandwiches, tomatoes, peaches.

Perfect size for all your serrated needs when a larger blade profile just will not get the job done. I use this knife daily and it is a major mulitasker in the kitchen.
