Covered fish pan by Staub makes easy preparation of fish; whole, fillets, or portions. Can be used for baking, steaming, roasting, or placed on the outside grill. Dish is also perfect size for doing asparagus, whole carrots, and other vegetables.

Everything But Wonderful For This Fish Pan!

This Staub Fish Pan is perfect for cooking fish and add few vegetables on the side for a best use of it and maximize this cast iron greatness. Depending on the occasion this fish pan can also be used for baking desserts and appetizers. It'll fit a good size fish either fillet fish or whole small fish.
Staub cast iron pots saves you another dish, you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table. Requires no seasoning and dishwasher safe.
The innovative lid features heavy weight; tight-fitting lid retains moisture. on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
Staub cast iron smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen. Oven safe up to 900F/482C without lid, Lids are oven safe up to 500F/260C. It's unique, interior matte texture results in exceptional browning. I gave up eating meat several years ago and always looking for a new way to cook fish. I found it in this Staub Cast Iron Pan. Use it for Salmon & Haddock and like to cook at a high temperature. This is the perfect pan for that.

If you are a fish lover, then this pan is a must! Leaves every cooked fish moist and so flavorful. Add your fav herbs, potatoes or veggies and voila, meal complete!

It cooks fish better than anything else, cleans easily (add water, let it soak and it all gets unstuck) and looks good. Two minuses: as others have said it's rather small so don't expect to cook for more than 1-2 peopl. Also, the handles are small so it's a little tricky to take out of the oven without risking burning your hands or dropping it.

Since it retains juices/moisture...opening lid and/or flipping is not required. Always cooks it the same way due to heating consistency.
