Like that this Staub piece comes with a custom wooden base. Makes it super easy to take prepared dishes straight from the stove top, oven, or grill to the table. Enameled cast iron surface provides excellent caramelization and browning for all your favorite recipes.

fajitas anyone?

I love this sizzle plate and holder combo. In our house we have fajita Fridays. I like to bring the meat to the table still sizzling. The wooden base holds it securely on the table while we dish out. No worries about it sliding off of a regular trivet. The enamel coating makes it easy to use. No seasoning required and you can use soap to clean it up. The matte texture gives a great sear and even browning. The natural properties of the cast iron keeps the food hot at the table throughout service.

A Sizzling dish too!

This dish seemed to be small but it can handle variety of cooking needs. You can bake brownies, perfectly thin brownies and easy to scoop them out for its shallow siding. Great for rectangular cookies, variety of delicious recipe' serves as sizzling plate. You can also use this on a stove top for any frying, grilling or searing purposes. This is one of the popular medium cast iron at our store, being that it is not so big and it serves as frying pan for its flat bottom. Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen.

Great serving dish

The perfect serving dish. You can cook anything in this rectangular dish, whether you want to do steaks, to roasting veggies, to casseroles or desserts, this dish can go straight from the stove or oven to the table with ease, especially since it comes with the wood base. A great look on any table, this is definitely a piece to use to serve for any dinner occasion.

This is a clever design caddy for a beautiful Staub dish. I use this pan for Mexican night. Steak, peppers, and onions!! Family fun meal.

This is a great pan for fajitas! Stays hot for a really long time and the wood base is easy to handle. We have also used it as a cooking surface for wagyu beef slices at the table.

Even though this is a shallow dish, you can make just about anything in it. Roast your root veggies, warm your tortillas or burritos, make a fruit tart or crisp! I love that it goes straight to the table for a nice presentation. No need to pull out more plates.
