The utility knife is one of my most used knives in my kitchen. I like the blade shape of this utility knife as it supports rocking and chopping motions. The handle is well balance and feels good in my hand which is very important. I use this knife almost as much as I use a chef knife.

Great knife design

I've never seen another knife that's design like this and I don't know what I did without it! I love using this for any small job in the kitchen from peeling and chopping garlic to slicing apples. I used to use a paring knife for these tasks, but I love using this knife instead because it has knuckle clearance. The handle is very comfortable to use.

Over 100 years of Henckels stainless steel technology in a mid-size prep knife that has great knuckle clearance and a handle that stays in place in the palm.

The handle on this line fits comfortably in most hands. The profile of the prep knife is conducive to chopping small amounts of food and general cutting purposes. The price is amazing.

A prep knife is a handy size between a larger chef's knife and a smaller paring knife. When you are cutting smaller quantities and you don't need the full reach of a long blade this is perfect for control and efficiency. This one has a nice rocking shape so you can use your rocking motion while slicing and cutting. Statements knives are very popular and are a good value.

This is my go-to knife in the kitchen - use it for most everything if not using a Chef knife. Cuts all those hard rinds or edges for melons and squash, meats and potatoes. Easy to handle as it is only 5.5", so not too small and not too big! Comfortable curved handle with a grip on the end.
