Great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this to replace the one we broke. The one we broke was from JCPenny - Cooks was the brand. Since JCPenny did not have Cooks knife set anymore so the lifetime warranty was useless :-(. We are glad to find the exact same knife to match the set. We should have bought Henckels in the first place as we would have the broken one replaced.

A great knife added to the family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a knife set as a gift that was not a Henkel set. It was alright but the metal was brittle. My roommate broke the chef knife and replaced it with a Henkel. Boy do I love that knife! My old 8" carving knife recently also snapped so I immediately replaced it with a Henkel blade. I've never been so happy to have a knife break! The Henkel knives hold an edge, are well balanced, and hold up to heavy, bordering on abusive, use.

Great knife for many uses

It is super sharp and the perfect thickness. It feels very safe to use with the large handle. It cuts through tough rinds

Superb Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Have 3 Henckels products. a 8" Classic Kitchen Knife a 10" Classic Kitchen Knife and a a 10" sharpening "rod". All are great at the right price. Both knives have a full tang and are triple riveted. I believe Zwilling-Henckels has an upscale series. But for me using these at home, these give you great bang for the buck. The fit and finish are exceptional. The sharpening steel is great and long enough to do the job. Fit and finish is as usual extraordinary

Love the Henkel International Made in Spain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Henkel International Made in Spain. We've had the original set for 18 years, yet sought two identical replacements for two that were lost. After getting some lesser grade Henckels that were JUNK made elsewhere, I was happy to find these. Not all Henckels are the same quality anymore, thus seek these as they're great quality, you can sharpen and the balance and handle are super.
