Plastic is very white and hard to see though. Not clear. Also did warp slightly in the dishwasher making the lid harder, but still manageable to put on.

Plastic containers are looks good but air is coming back inside after couple hours and whatever the veggies or fruits you placed in the container. Don't waste your money. There is another way to keep fresh your veggies and fruits.

Loses suction (glass ones too) and have to daily check them for that. The plastic ones are nice but retain strong odors. It takes several washings to remove the smell.
