One of the first sets I ever purchased was the Henckels Classic - years ago. I still have the set and it is still an integral part of the kitchen at our second home. This chef's knife is a keeper. It does everything it should, including holding an edge. This knife is an incredible buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th or 5th Henckels 8" chef's knife. They get used so frequently, they often end up in the sink. I tried to buy another through-tang knife which is my best and go-to knife, but it is no longer available. So I went with this one, and am not disappointed. They are the best knife for daily use at an affordable price and hold an edge even with heavy use!

All around great knife

This is a great all-purpose knife for use on just about anything & everything! Cutting meat, fish, veggies, potatoes, all of it! It truly is the workhorse in my kitchen! No kitchen should be w/out a great Henckels 8" Chef knife!

I have struggled with cheap knives for so long, this certainly is the best knife I have used. I also have an 8” carving knife I am anxious to use. Looking forward to using these for many years to come.

Super sharp knife is new favorite kitchen tool
