Big or small, this santoku knife is great to use when chopping and mincing ingredients. The comfortable handle and sharp blade allows control and efficiency while working through prep work. The knife is lightweight but is super durable and a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife is good size for daily prep and cooking. Very sharp and cuts through meat and veggies very well. I like that food does not stick on the knife. I’ve always used Henckels knives and they always have great quality.

Great Chopping Knife

The Henckels International line was developed using German engineering and technology adapted to a more value priced line. The Dynamic knife line is a great value and good quality. It has the durable three rivet handle similar to the knives made in Germany. Its fine edge blade is made from high quality steel that will hold its edge nicely, is light and flexible.
The 7" santoku is a great knife to chop onions or larger fruits and vegetables. The hollow edge or "dimples" help keep food from sticking to the blade.

When shopping for value priced knives you might be on a budget but you don't want to sacrifice sharpness and durability. Dynamic series will not disappoint and are perfect for a starter kitchen . Stamped from a single sheet of high quality stainless steel they are light weight and corrosion resistant. I like the way the handle is high on the bolster because it provides a comfortable area for my pinch grip. A Santoku is perfect for all your chopping jobs. The hollow pockets on the edge help to prevent food from clinging as you slice. This knife comes in both a five inch and a seven inch and the blade feels sturdy and sharp.

Great for dicing and mincing!

This Santoku knife is impressively versatile! A go-to knife will manage daily cutting tasks needs such as vegetables, meat, poultry, fruits, and herbs. Excellent for chopping, slicing, and dicing. Its functionality is the same as the chef knife however knife blade edge is more straight which is great for dicing and mincing, the wide blade can be use to scoop food transferring from the cutting board! The indention on the blade creates a barrier between the food and the steel, preventing food from sticking on the knife blade. A well-made value product fabricated from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, a full tang, precision-stamped blade and stays sharp longer. It is lightweight, and has a comfortable handle, low maintenance knife, and great for indoor and outdoor. Perfect for young cook exploring cooking! It is dishwasher safe!
