Sharp, good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used it a few times, but so far this knife is very sharp, has a good heft, and seems to be made very well. Unlike my previous knife (RIP) which seemed to be glued together with the blade piece itself extending less than halfway down, the blade looks to be attached to the handle with rivets/screws that go all the way through the blade and the handle down to the end of the handle, so hopefully this knife will stay together. Very nice knife, especially for the price.

Great for slicing, dicing, chopping and mincing. The hollow ground edge helps prevent food from sticking. The stamped blade is lighweight and the handle is comfortable. All you need to decide is if you need a 5" or 7" or both.

Best Knife I've Ever Used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this at a discount store for a fraction of what I knew was a typical price for a Henkel knife. My husband is actually the chef in our home, so he had educated me about Henkels, his knife of choice. When I showed him my purchase, he said it was probably a knock-off (imitation). But it is NOT! It is now my FAVORITE knife, because it is SO SHARP and easy to use. I love it!

Zwilling does a great job of competing in the value cutlery market. The Henckels International knife lines are always a cut above the competition.This Santoku knife has a sharp edge with hollows for easy food release, ergonomic handle for ease of handling, is light weight and well balanced. Good knife for the value.

Nice Santoku knife

A good Santoku knife, great for chopping fruits, veggies, and meats. A great starter knife for newbies, such as young aspiring chefs, the santoku knife is a nice alternative large blade to use if you don’t want to keep using a Chef or if you like to chop your food rather than slice. The indentions on the blade also help with releasing food of the knife, a great aesthetic to the knife. Nice handles on the knife, contours nicely to the high carbon German stainless steel blade. The German stainless steel won’t be prone to rusting or tarnishing, a great steel to use if you’re cutting up acidic or starchy foods.
