[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What's not to like? Perfect weight (not too heavy, not too light), perfect size, great satin finish, and easy to use.
This is a great knife. Not only does it look cool, it performs very well. The solid steel construction is sturdy and comfortable to hold. The blade is very sharp and is easy to maintain. The slim blade profile gives thin accurate slices and cuts.
The ergonomic handle and weight makes this the preferred knife for my husband when chopping our furbabies' food! He had me order this one for our cabin so he had it there as well as our primary home!
My kids gave this to me for Mother's Day, and I couldn't be more pleased with their selection. Always wanted a Santoku style knife. It is sharper than my Chef's knife because the angle is smaller. Love the way I can utilize the entire blade because the bolster doesn't interfere with the back of the blade. Great for chopping, mincing and dicing. The knife is very sturdy but at the same time lightweight. Thinking of getting the 5.5 ' one for smaller jobs.
I use my santoku as much as I use my chef knife; it can be used on meat, poulty and vegetables. The hollowed out grooves on the blade, called grantons, keep food from sticking to the blade. The handle is comfortable and is secure in my hand thanks to the sandblasted finish. Lightweight, sharp and durable!
Great value for a santoku knife. It has a super modern look with that textured stainless steel handle. The knife has a solid feel and it cuts really well.
This knife collection is made in three pieces and welded together. It has a pretty and modern appearance, with some texture on the handle to help reduce slippage. It does have a nice balanced weight.
