Perfect pot and size for a larger family!

Staub cast iron smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen. Oven safe up to 900F/482C without lid, Lids are oven safe up to 500F/260C. It's unique, interior matte texture results in exceptional browning. Beautiful for either stainless steel or modern designed. Staub cast iron pots saves you another dish, you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table.The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results. I also bought a staub trivet to protect my table from direct heat, it add another beautiful thing at your dinner table.

Great Pot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality. Great pot for so many things. Use it for two people normally, but have plenty of room when guests come over and need to cook for more. Not too heavy and lid stay on securely.

Tiny imperfections, not perfect -but that’s okay. Most annoying was a divot and multiple spots of rust on the lip. They offered a return, but I got it on sale and not worth the hassle. An offered exchange would’ve been nice. It’s a beautiful piece.

I was super excited to receive my Dutch oven because I love my smaller 3quart oven! Unfortunately the excitement fizzled when I realized the glaze on the lid was spotty revealing the cast iron underneath. Also the white is super white making the oven appear cheap. Going to exchange for the black oven to match my smaller one.
