Keeps Liquids Hot

This cast iron tea kettle keeps liquids nice and hot for at least one hour. Not only for water, keeps soups, sauces, and gravies at the perfect temperature. Use to dispense hot coffee too. Beautifully designed, made in France and works with my induction cooktop.

I love this kettle. The cast iron keeps my tea warm through long chats and reading sessions. The shape is unique. I love that it comes with a tea ball that hangs from the inside of the lid allowing me to steep and remove easily. It also makes a great gravy/sauce boat for the holidays as it keeps hot through all of service.

Takes long to boil on electric stove with a small base and heavy metal. Wish it had a whistle. Heavy to pour and handles not the easiest to maneuver. Beautiful piece though, and expected to last.

I love the look of this tea kettle and it looks great on my stove. I like how it is easy to fill, unlike other tea kettles I have because the whole top comes off. It also keeps the water really hot for a long time because of the cast iron construction.

I had a friend that collected Staub for a few years and he loved this kettle so much he got me one as a gift. I love how it is so simple to use but so graceful looking. He has it in four colors and sits them on a shelf with different knobs its soooo cute! i use mine too much for it to be so decorative.

I love making hot water for tea in this pot, as it is rustic and charming. AND my hot water stays hot for a long time. I have also warmed up soups in this pot. Even though it is not big enough to serve soup for a few, it is a special pot that deserves to be seen and used often!
