Great boning knife! The handle is nice, it’s easy to hold when breaking down chickens. We also use it to butterfly open chicken breast and pork chops.

Bigger and perhaps heavier than most boning knives

This was purchased for someone else who is a home economist with a master's degree.
The price was good but the handle is on the large side. A closer look at the photograph of this knife might reveal that it has a larger handle than most boning knives, but then again it might not. If you want a regular weight boning knife with a normal sized handle, then pay the extra money and get the pro or professional boning knife.

Well constructed for boning chicken and removing touch silver skin from meats. Sturdy and flexible. this is an excellent size and shape for cleaning and boning all types of meats, chicken and fish. the contour handle feel comfortable. i like the detail of the silver end cap!
