This block has every knife a kitchen needs including the top three - 8" chef knife, a full size serrated knife and a paring. It even has full sized santoku and carving knives. The blades are made from high quality steel so won't rust or tarnish. You won't even have to leave the house to get your knives sharpened. The block is self sharpening, every time you pull out a knife it gets sharpened, how convenient.

Well balanced and very sharp. They material is first class and only time will tell how well they hold an edge. Can't wait to put the set to work
