Beautiful set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The block is milled to fit the pro's handle profile perfectly, even knives I've owned for several years fit like a glove. The fact that the block has multiple slots not used means that you can bring all the knives you had to store in drawers out to the counter or fill in pieces that the set doesn't include (santoku, 6.5" carving knife, serrated utility knife) to round out your new set. Not to say you'll need anything more than what's already included!

This is a perfect set if you are first time buying a set that will have all essential knife in your kitchen, then add a steak knife set to have a complete set.
This will be the best investment.
When a customer walks-in for sharpening a Pro knife, I get so excited because it's the easiest knife to sharpen for that it's a half bolster/

Today, the price was right, it was in stock, the sales associate, Caryn, was wonderful, and I brought it home. The knives are perfectly beautiful, the block is gorgeous, and the knife sharpener is an added bonus. I expect these knives to last me as long as I live!
