All Serrations Are Not Created Equal

Serrated knives don't just come with one way. The cheaper ones have sharp teeth that can "tear" through food. But this knife has a new type, Z15, which gives you a cleaner slice, more like a fine edge knife. There are no sharp teeth, they're more rounded and sharp in the "well" of the blade. This new type of serration also helps keep the blade from wearing out; no sharp teeth to wear away.
Perfect for anything hard on the outside and soft on the inside like tomatoes, oranges or a package of sausage.

amazing serration

This is next level engineering. The German steel blade is amazingly sharp and strong. The serration pattern is unique. There are two different lengths, with only the longer one hitting the cutting board. This keeps the knife sharper longer. It makes clean straight cuts through tomatoes, citrus, bagels or anything else with a harder exterior and soft inside. The handle is lightweight and comfortable to hold.

A fantastic serration on a stamped blade

This is a great utility knife. This is an unique serration for a premium stamped knife. The Z15 serration is so much better than other serrated bread knives I’ve used. This does a beautiful job of cleanly slicing bread, fruit, meat without tearing or squishing. A lightweight knife, this premium stamped and ice hardened steel will have lasting durability and sharpness.

The serrated shape of this knife is unique.
The two distinct edges allow for piercing crusty or thick skinned fruits and vegetables while the scalloped edge will prevent food from tearing. Super sharp, durable and well balanced. The handle is comfortable and classic with the three rivets.

These Made in Germany knives are great for every day use and stay sharp! The Gourmet collection is manufactured with the Friodur process so the sharpness stays, they are durable and chip and rust-free. Nice curved handle for comfort and ease of holding and cutting. Gourmet knives are good knives at a great price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this knife as a gift from my daughter. She has a set and this is her favorite. I certainly can see why! It has a good solid feel, is very sharp and slices through both soft veggies like tomatoes and hard veggies like carrots effortlessly. My old favorite knife has been put aside as this has become my new favorite. Such great quality. I love it!

Super Serrations

This knife has Zwilling's new Z15 serrations which are razor sharp. The knife works perfectly on harder crumb breads - the kind we pay a lot of money for. We use it exclusively for tomatoes as well. Again the Z15 serration pierces the tomato skin and slides right through.

Straightforward utility knife. Serrated edge means it will stay sharp and cut ofr a very, very long time. Good quality metal, will last. Comfortable handle.
