I made little individual shuffles in these for a dinner party. Looked very "French" and they came out perfectly right from the oven. Great French made quality.

These small cocottes are great for mis en place while cooking, for storing your salt by the stove, individual servings for a gathering of friends and family. Oven safe to 900 degrees without the knob and 500 with the knob. Comaptable with all heat sources as well. They are very cute and look great on the dinner table or buffet.

great small cocotte

I love all of my Staub pieces but I am OBSESSED with these minis. All of the benefits of full size Staub just in a smaller size. The enamel coating is inside and out keeping with the traditional matte interior. The braising spices are still featured on the lid. These are full cooking versions but I like to use mine for serving and for holding my salt and pepper in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though it’s small it’s really nice to add puff pastry to the top of a bisque or simply have single serve size foods that can be served directly to someone. Also great to warm up artichoke dip and place out on the table because it’s just cute as is. Plus, it keeps the dip warm with its adorable little lid. Right now I use one to keep my butter in.

Love these cocottes. Recently purchase an even dozen to use at a dinner party we were having. French Onion Soup was the appetizer, and I pulled them straight from the oven and served them directly to my guests. Truly the highlight of the meal. The cocottes are beautiful, and kept everything nice and hot. Also appreciate the fact I was able to broil the gruyere topping without any worries because Staub can withstand high temperatures. Will definitely be using these again and again.
