Quality product, lid could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Vacuum works well; heavy duty glass (chose this over competitors who only offer plastic); good size/shape with straight sides (unlike the small-medium-large glass containers; makes this fridge container more efficient to pack). I only have 1 in this size but imagine it stacks nicely in the fridge.
Cons: Don't love the lids. Bulky, too many nooks/crannies to clean, even if using the dishwasher still have to disassemble occasionally for deeper clean. Wish lids could double as airtight fitted lids when vacuum not needed (eg., onions, cabbage; also when taking containers on the go- instead of the elastic band like on the plastic lunch boxes. Can't risk saucy or liquidy dishes).
Would also be nice to have a subtle line or indicator on the glass containers to show max fill capacity (as the lid gets sucked down a bit).
I haven't tried the app yet (using the QR codes on the lids) but can see how it'd be helpful to track storage dates if you have multiple containers in rotation.
