The rocking santoku is one of the go-to knives in my kitchen and that's one of the many reasons I recommend this Miyabi Black version. The unique black ash handle is so comfortable and the signature Damascus blade will stay extra sharp for a long time. Tackle any prep task with this bad boy.

A beautiful blade you need

This is probably my favorite style knife that I own. I love the Black collection, I love the aesthetic of these Japanese knives and how beautiful the 133 layers of MC66 steel is on the blade. Even though the layers are pronounced in that beautiful flower Damascus design, it’s also subtitled in comparison to some other Miyabi blades. I love this rocking santoku, it is the perfect all purpose knife. Don’t have a chef knife, no worries you can use this knife. Need to mince herbs and garlic? This knife is a workhorse in your kitchen for all sorts of tasks, mincing, slicing, chopping. The black ash wood handle feels great in hand, contours nicely and the transition from handle to blade is comfortable. I love how durable this knife is, and that I can enjoy this very sharp Japanese knife for years to come.

This Miyabi Black knife rocking santoku is fun and adventure to have, it rocks, glides and chopping motion.A made in Japan knife that, is manageable and scalpel-like sharpness.
This is a true work of art, a knife is so sharp and fancy however it is so versatile you'll enjoy its performance and functionality.
Blade consists of 133 layers of steel, resulting in a floral Damascus pattern. This exquisite, hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking.
A striking maple wood handle shows uniqueness in every pieces.
Scalpel-like sharpness knife, saves you time sharpening your knife because it stays sharp and honed it once in a while.
The blade is constructed of micro-carbide powdered MC66 steel, which is ice-hardened to an impressive 66 HRC. Hand wash is recommended.

I can't believe that you can actually use something everyday that looks this beautiful. What an absolute piece of art!
The blade is gorgeous with 133 layers and an edge that can cut the thinnest slices imaginable yet feels light in the hand and has a perfect balance.
The Black Ash handle is not only stunning but feels great in both a right handed as well as a left handed cook.
This rocking Santoku is the perfect knife for cutting veggie and meat. Does everything a chef will do with the attributes of the Santoku.

Ultimate Rocker

The rocking santoku is one of my favorite knives. I love the incredibly sharp edge and the curved blade that makes rocking cutting a seamless, smooth motion. I almost feel like a chef.
Miyabi Black is the ultimate in Japanese knives. It is made with one of the hardest kitchen steels, MC66, which assures you of incredible edge retention. Its wrapped with 132 layers which gives it that darker Damascus look. The ash handle is rounded, true to its Japanese heritage.
It is one knife you would treasure forever.

Once you use a Miyabi, you will never turn back! This Black 7" Rocking Santoku is great for veggies, but good for so much else. Ice-hardened, so no need to worry about the sharpness or the durability! Super-sharp edge and the Damascus pattern is both functional and beautiful. Keeps food from sticking while the handle gives a good grip and comfort.

Rock, chop, the everything knife!

From the razorlike 66 rockwell blade tip to the classic metal butted D-shaped handle, this rocking Santoku knife is perfection.
The steel is amazing in hardness and strength. the 133 layers of meticulous layers are stunning and the amazing black ash wood handle with classic rivet, superb.
For the guy or gal who already has everything.. there is this knife!
