A fantastic Japanese bread knife

This knife is awesome. I love the look of this knife and how it has certain features that make it a true Japanese knife, like the mirrored finish aspect to the blade and the shape of the handle. I like that it’s a Cocobolo wood, really beautiful look that accents the blade perfectly. This knife slices through anything with ease and smoothness, clean slices every time whether it’s bread or fruit. It has a nice balance to it as well, and the D-shape handle contours nicely in your hand. The steel is really solid for a Japanese knife, so I’m not worried about it chipping down the road.

The bellied handle offers an extremely comfortable grip while the high quality hammered steel blade will never need sharpening and will show you how easy slicing bread can be with an amazing knife.

Not just for bread

The bread knife came with our Artisan set. It wasn't a knife that I thought I would use much, but boy was I wrong. Great for breads, bagel, tomatoes and fruit. Like the entire set, it's super sharp. Comfortable handle. They are beautiful knives.

This is a very sharp and durable serrated knife . The hammer finish resist sticking. I use this knife for all rustic,whole ,crusty breads and baquettes. Its also a good choice for crumbly cakes and pies!Beautiful rounded handle is very comfortable. Every detail considered- pure Miyabi excellence.

As a baker I really appreciate a fine bread knife. They are not only used for cutting into a beautiful loaf of artisan bread but I also use mine to halve cake rounds for multi layered cakes. Then they are perfect for cutting and serving the cake.
The hand hammering on this blade is really stunning and makes food fall off the blade easily. The serration doesn't leave behind much crumb and bites into crusts easily.

My favorite bread knife!

This serrated knife is so sharp to cut breads, bagel, loaf, can also be cut cakes and baguette. Hand-hammered effect helps prevent food from sticking, food separate in an instant from the steel.
Handle is so comfortable in your hand and love that D shape handle and it is fabricated with special Cocobolo Rosewood pakkawood.
