Miyabi is the elite of knives and this one is made to last! With the Damascus pattern and 133 layers, it will stay sharp, hard and durable. It not only looks good, it does every job better than expected. The black ash wood makes for a beautiful and comfortable handle.

The depth of the damascus design is more beautiful than any I've ever seen. The 132 layers protect a core of one of the hardest steels you will ever find in a kitchen knife, MC66. It is so impressive both in how incredibly sharp it is but how well it holds that edge. The handle is true to its Japanese heritage and beautifully crafted from wood.
This shorter blade length is perfect for someone who feels a 7" blade is simply too big. It's perfect for chopping fruits and veggies.

Incredible Damascus Pattern

This Miyabe knife is not only razor sharp but it has an incredible Damascus pattern made from 132 layers of steel wrapped around a MC66 steel core. This knife will retain its sharpness use after use and the Japanese traditional D-shaped handle is made from black ash which is as eye catching as it is comfortable to hold. The smaller 5.5 inch size can tackle any job but is a good size for even people will smaller hands.

I love this 5.5 inch santoku. It is perfect for smaller fruits and veggies where a 7 inch santoku may be too big. The Miyabi Black has the highest quality steel to make sure you are getting the sharpest edge. In addition, you get a beautiful one of a kind handle.

Perfect small santoku

From the razorlike 66 rockwell blade tip to the classic metal butted d shaped handle, this smaller Santoku knife is perfection.
The steel is amazing in hardness and strength. the 133 layers of meticulous layers are stunning and the amazing black ash wood handle with classic rivet, superb.
For the guy or gal who already has everything.. there is this knife!

This is the most beautiful knife I have ever seen and you can really see the high quality craftsmanship that was put into creating this work of art. They are not only beautiful, but they are sharp and functional. I love the design on the blade and I love that they blade is wide on the santoku style.

Manueverability With Scalpel Sharpness

Fantastic balance in a Japanese carbide steel won't quit. Starts and stays sharp with 130+ layers to create each unique Damascus pattern. Ash wood grip is tough and durable.
