I thought it odd though that the knife black had three extra slots and no knives in them. The block seems to have been made for a set with more knives.

Master crafted knives to last a lifetime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used my grandmother’s set for a while and finally got our own. Upgrading from 6” to 8” chef’s knife has been awesome. Amazing quality, especially when regularly sharpened. Beautiful grain on the walnut set
