Great Knife!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this knife as a Christmas present and my first impressions are of a great knife. I immediately opened the knife and went about chopping some vegetables. It's well balanced and weighted just right to allow it to blast through everything I tried it on. I thinks this is going to be my new favorite.

This makes my past two cleavers look like butter knives! It makes all my chopping so much easier. I do wish it were a bit heavier, but I'd rather have sharpness than weight. Now the only question is how long will it stay sharp, and how will things go after sharpenings.

High Quality and ease of use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product for vegetables. It has a long high blade which allows for cutting through the entire vegetable versus getting stuck down in between some of the stocks or other pieces.
With a German blade it should last a long time as drilling and hinkle have been making great products for years.
