Love, love, love my new knives

Great Looking Set!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally updated our knife set! Haven’t had a chance to use them too much yet but loving how sharp they are and look! The blades could be a bit stiffer but then again we didn’t get their higher end product. One thing to note is how ‘big’ the block is. The block and including the knife handles stick out abt 12.5” from the wall so takes up more counter then expected.

Blades are very thin. There’s not too much weight in the knives and they feel flimsy. They are serviceable, but would not recommend

Meets Any Cutlery Task

This set has a knife for every cutlery task you will ever encounter. Plus 6 steak knives are included in the set, which is great. Being a stamped knife, they are a little lighter than the forged knives I have used. Handle is comfortable. After reading others' reviews, I hand wash them to keep them looking new and to keep them from getting dinged up in the dishwasher. Doesn't take much effort to do so. This is a great value for a set of knives that handles all your culinary tasks.

This set has everything a modern cook needs in the kitchen. Good value, has a nice sharp edge and feels great in the hand. Lighter in weight than most western style knives which I like.

Very sharp, but...

I bought this set thinking Henckels was the very best. No doubt, they are extremely sharp. But for two reasons, I am disappointed in this particular set. Because the blades are serrated, they tend to slice towards the side, not straight down. Another problem I’ve found is that the tips on some, especially the steak knives is that the tips bend pretty easily. I am disappointed with this set and wouldn’t buy these again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
