[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this knife set as a gift from our bridal shower. I was really disappointed when I opened it that one of the knife’s were damaged.

I will start that I am a retired nurse and worked 10 hour days for years. Recently a gifted myself a Jak Boos end cut butcher block cart with stainless steel legs and shelf. I was lucky enough because it actually came with a 15 piece Henchel knive set. I did some reading about both before I purchased these products. The research I did explained that having a good set of knives was important in cooking but also helped the protection of the butcher block. To make a long story short, I as very excited when they came. The knives arrived first so I had a day to study them and than when the butcher block came I set to work. I had bought a nice pot roast and once I got the roast into the pot I decided to test the knives on the vegetables. OMG I could not believe the difference using these knives. I felt so empowered like I was a chef using his or her tools. They are incredible, everything I cut felt like butter. What a difference they make, here I was so excited about the butcher block and never knew it would be the knives that won me over. I am so very happy with both products but I must say that if I had known the knives were going to be that great I would have got them years ago. I am thrilled that I have them and now that I am retired I can use them daily. I give both products 10 stars.
