High wuality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using very cheap kitchen knives I bought when I first started cooking in high school/college. I cook multiple meals daily and I am honestly completely astonished by the difference in quality, sharpness, and durability these knives offer compared to what I was using before. I was actually completely shocked when I maybe my first cut on asparagus spears. The chefs knife literally felt like it melted through the spears. Incredible company, incredible product

I never knew that I was using dull knives until I got this block and now every time I pull a knife out, I know it is sharp and will cut right through whatever I am chopping! I love that the knives are all metal and look very sleek. I also love how this set came with steak knives.

Why did I wait so long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the self sharpening feature. I also love the sand blasted textured handles, easy to grip and the knives are nicely weighted /balanced.
The only issue I have is that there are small discolored spots on some of the blades. The first time I used them to prepare a meal, I used a few different knives during the preparation, and I washed them by hand when I finished making the meal. Anyplace that there was a small spec of food on the blade, it discolored the blade. I can get the spots removed from the blades. I’m so disappointed that the metal got discolored in spots the very first time I used them. It was the first set of nice knives I’ve bought in 43 years.
Is there anything that can be done?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
