[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous set. The block keeps them sharp, but you'll need to sharpen them up at first. I did find two very minor scratches and couldn't polish them off. I'd say it's a good starter set, but maybe look elsewhere if you're more advanced and want absolute perfection.
They are a huge improvement on the Cuisineart knives I had before, and I'm happy to get these at a good price!

Major kitchen upgrade

Finally we decided we needed an upgrade and we’re not disappointed. Knives are very sturdy and sharp. Additionally the self sharpening knife block is much more attractive than our previous knife block. Would recommend.
