[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these! The self-sharpening feature keeps them sharp which makes using them very enjoyable. I’ve actually been cooking more now that I have these! The weight of the knives is very comfortable.

Great knife set, odd texture

-they have a little heft to them. Feel well made sturdy. Not overweight.
-they look absolutely nice.
-self sharpening. That’s very nice. The chef’s knife, santoku, pear, and utility knife were a bit dull coming out of the box. After a couple of passes (literally a minute) they were able to cut through paper with easy
-the bigger knives feel so amazing to grip. You will not lose any hold on them.
-the wooden block is nice, looks luxurious
Not so much love
-the steak knives feel so weird due to the texture of the steel on the handle. I love it for the bigger knives, but for some reason…not on the steak knives. That’s just a preference thing though.
Bottom line- I would recommend this brand. I would say just due to the texture of the steak knives, I’d say not this exact set. Will I use them? Yes. Will I get over the texture? Yes. Absolutely. They are a nice knife set.
