Decent not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives cut well and the self sharpening block is a great idea but it wasn't executed well. They're not very well balanced and are heavy in the handle, which causes them to sit awkwardly in the block. The pairing knife looks like it's ready to fall out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wanting German steel knives since living in Germany and I couldn’t be more happy. The quality is amazing and I love the self-sharpening block to keep them working well.

Finally Adulting with excellent knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I have had cheap as seen on TV knives. I finally pulled the trigger and got a beautifully crafted knife set. The modernist 14 piece set with self sharpening block is amazing. Every time I take it a knife, it sounds like I'm drawing a sword! The knives are perfectly sharp each time!
