Great if you don’t plan on using the block.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knifes look nice and are sharp. I just opened the box today and used the chef’s knife to chop some vegetables. I took all the knives out of their packaging and put them in their corresponding slots and only the steak knives seem to fit properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this knife set to replace our aging Ginsu knives that we had. I was very hesitant in the purchase because we loved our current set, but they outlived their usefulness and it was time for a new set. After researching different brands within our price range the J. A. Henckels Modernist with the built in sharpener was our final decision and I have been very pleased with it. There were others reviews stating that their knives rusted quickly, but I don’t think they cared for them properly. I don’t use a dish washer and I wash them right after use. Care for the knife and it’ll last a while. I highly recommend this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful. Sharp. Balanced. I love the build on blade honing system in the block. These cut like a dream. Unsure how we made it this far with what we were using before!
