what i have been looking for

This set has everything ive been looking for. First they are quality blades from Henckels. I love the feel and the design. They look and very nice on my counter. Second they are very comfortable so they are a joy to use.This is truly a full set even including the steak knives that look great on my table as well as in the block. The self sharpening block is a big plus. I have always struggled to keep my knives sharp and this set takes care of it for me. A great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my gosh! It has been so long since I had good knives, I forgot I didn’t have to risk losing my hand slicing a potato. These take on almost anything you can dream of. I use the chef’s knife most of the time, but I do enjoy the santoku and utility knives, as well as the steak knives. They feel really good in my hand, and they aren’t at all slick or slippery, even when hand-washing. The block is large, but honestly it is not that much larger than any other knife block that holds 14 knives. Well worth the counter space! I recommend using a wooden cutting board to preserve their blades. The built in sharpener is cool, but it can’t fix abuse!
