Henkel Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing our 7 year old Henkel set with these. Really like the one piece design and look forward to using them. Built in sharpeners seem like a time saver compared to manual sharpening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set has all the knives you need in your kitchen. They are super sharp to begin with and stay that way with the self-sharpening block. The knives also look sharp! The block and knives look impressive on the counter. The knives are a good weight in hand and feel solidly built. This would make a memorial gift for anyone.

I've spent most of my life dealing with mediocre knives so when this product became available at a price I could afford, I jumped at the chance. I was a bit afraid of the sharpness at first but they are so well balanced and cut so well, I kick myself for not doing this sooner. And even though I really dislike serrated steak knives, these cut through meat without destroying it. Very pleased.
