Good Quality Entry Level Knife Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife set came well packaged and protected from the retailer. Each knife feels decently balanced and the non-serrated knives have a very sharp edge. This is replacing an aging Ginsu knife set and I feel like these are a step up from that. They seem more than adequate for the day-to-day usage of a typical household and maybe even the entry level chef. Take note that the finish does water spot very easily. If you care about the spots, I would recommend not air drying, but wiping with a microfiber towel after cleaning. As stated in the description, the knife block has sharpeners in it. This is only for the non-serrated knives though. However, I think a better edge can be achieved with more conventional sharpening methods. Overall, I think this is a good product and should provide many years of usage for the typical family.
