[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these as a wedding gift. Didn't realize they were self sharpening until we opened the box. Haven't used them yet but very excited to do so. Looking forward to throwing my old cheap knives away.

Why did I wait so long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the self sharpening feature. I also love the sand blasted textured handles, easy to grip and the knives are nicely weighted /balanced.
The only issue I have is that there are small discolored spots on some of the blades. The first time I used them to prepare a meal, I used a few different knives during the preparation, and I washed them by hand when I finished making the meal. Anyplace that there was a small spec of food on the blade, it discolored the blade. I can get the spots removed from the blades. I’m so disappointed that the metal got discolored in spots the very first time I used them. It was the first set of nice knives I’ve bought in 43 years.
Is there anything that can be done?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
