Sharp and sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look and weight of the knives. The self sharpening is an amazing for keeping them sharp with minimal effort. It should have a metal cover where the steak knives go though so you don’t end up stabbing the wood putting them back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the quality and the color of the wood block. Great that the slots are labeled. Dislike how long the box is..takes up a lot of counter space but this may be necessary for correct self sharpening.

Snag that set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was kinda skeptical about spending such a large amount of money since I was just starting out in the culinary world but boy is this worth it! Knives are very sharp out of the box and of course there's the icing on the cake - the self sharpening block. The Santoku seems a bit dull but when slices through meat as if it were butter. Caution - beware of the paring knife - it's sharpened to an overkill! Overall great investment.

Cuts everything like butter

I love this modernist forged block set, it cuts like butter and it has a sharpener in the block so I will always have a sharpened knife. The handle is also nice and comfortable. I will definitely recommend it to anyone!
