I got this set of knives for my new home. They look gorgeous. Cooking with them is a great pleasure. Now I can slice tomatoes very thin - what an experience! I love them. First time I have a fine set of knives. No way to go back.

Great First Impression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these knives look great and I like the function of the sharpening block. There is a slight dent in the chef's knife, but it may he negligible. I haven't decide on whether or not to return. Overall look of the block and feel of the knives is good. Knives seemed well balanced and (unlike our previous set) seem to be an appropriate weight. I wish the utility knife was an inch or two longer for slicing large pieces of meet (e.g., roasts, barbecue, etc.). Overall, nice set. Quality seems worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the International Modernistic Forged Knife-set. While holding these knives, they feel very substantial and solid. I am excited to see if the knives do keep their sharpness! I know that’s an important part in regards to the safety of cooking.

Where have you been all my life?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a chef. Outside of breakfast I only cook maybe three times a week. I received these as an anniversary gift and they are amazing! Since I don't cook much I never gave it a thought to buy expensive knives. After using these knives I have already cleaned out my knife drawer and gotten rid of all of my old knives. These knives are great and make chopping and dicing really easy. I really like the self sharpening block too. Thank you for such a great product.
